🏀On March 31, 1975 UCLA, coached by John Wooden, won his 10th and final NCAA national title with a 92–85 victory over Kentucky, coached by Joe B. Hall, at the San Diego Sports Arena. Richard Washington of UCLA was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. Washington finished the game with 28 points and 12 rebounds.
