In this lecture, we will simulate the torque–speed characteristics of a three-phase Induction motor using Simscape in MATLAB. First the theory and then the simulation guide step by step. By comparing the results with the theoretical analysis, we can see that the simulated torque–speed characteristic is in good agreement with theory.
